While it is repetitive, I have to say that this was pretty good. I can only assume it's repetitive though because it's short (most likely a WIP?) AND it's trance. Keep up the good work!

JMSy responds:

yes WIP just an idea...based on the feedback seems worth completing..ill post up full one later keep eyes out

Nice intro and 8-bit drums, but some of the background SFX sound out of place. The tune and progression were nice! Keep it up

key-bal responds:

thanks man, thats for the pointers too :)

The song is pretty good! I like the tune, progression, and how you weren't repetitive! However, some of the drums sound raw, try fixing those up a bit! Great work, keep it up :p

Nice intro! Really liked the arps coming in. Also the drums came in with style! You kinda changed it around from DnB to drumstep, which is pretty interesting as well. The mastering and mixing is well done! I like some of the audio effects you put in. Keep up the good work!

Djjaner responds:

thank you very much :)

Nice captivating intro, but it gets repetitive. I did like the tune, audio effects, and the SFX though! Keep up the work!

Amazing song, but it's just mislabeled. This is more towards dubstep than DnB. (DnB is just around 174 BPM)

Nice work, keep it up! I rarely rate 5 stars, but this one's pretty much perfect in my opinion!

aliaspharow responds:

Yeah i noticed, i litteraly changed it as you typed it up lol. I set it to House cause It's 128. I appreciate the advice

It seems like there's sidechaining to virtually every single drum note. That would just be a mixing/mastering issue, so you could fix that. (It's especially annoying when there are fast tom rolls)

I really like the tune and overall chord progressions, variety in the song and instruments! Keep up the work.

My advice to you is that you spread out your releases (you get more plays that way).

As for the song, the intro changes really abruptly. (The voice sample scared me) The progression is fairly slow, but I'm sure you meant for it to be that way. However, because of this, the intro is quite repetitive (I guess that's the nature of techno, though). All of the transitions could use some work. Also the voice sample mixing could use some work.

I liked the chord progression and the acidic bass and the drum beat, though (especially after 4 minutes in). You did say that you made 10 songs in 1 night in 2005, which is quite a feat. However, I do recommend that you spend a little more time on these tracks (quality > quantity IMO).

Nice work overall on all of your recent tracks!

ReddVampirus responds:

Thank you for your feedback. I would pretty much say all the songs I made back in 2005 would need some work lol. After all, I was a complete noob at music making. Considering I never even studied music, I made them all from playing by ear. I'm just glad people are finding something to like about the music I made instead of totally trash talking my music. I love feedbacks like this, much much much 'preciated. Sorry if I scared you with the voicing...that was completely unintentional, I swear lol. :D

The guitar chords were slightly unexpected, they kind of reminded me of Animusic's Resonant Chamber for some reason (if you've heard that song). Excellent track! Keep up the good work!

There's too much compression with the sub bass, but other than that, it's nice!

ReddVampirus responds:

Thank you for your feedback. Yeah, I figured something was up with it when I played it on different sources. I'm now beginning to test them on different speakers and such before releasing. When I made this, I had nothing else to test it on, and my program was starting to glitch (with no way to edit it once it froze), so I quickly released the song. If I'm able to edit and fix this song, I'll re-release it (with it noted that it was cleaned up).
