My advice to you is that you spread out your releases (you get more plays that way).

As for the song, the intro changes really abruptly. (The voice sample scared me) The progression is fairly slow, but I'm sure you meant for it to be that way. However, because of this, the intro is quite repetitive (I guess that's the nature of techno, though). All of the transitions could use some work. Also the voice sample mixing could use some work.

I liked the chord progression and the acidic bass and the drum beat, though (especially after 4 minutes in). You did say that you made 10 songs in 1 night in 2005, which is quite a feat. However, I do recommend that you spend a little more time on these tracks (quality > quantity IMO).

Nice work overall on all of your recent tracks!

Thank you for your feedback. I would pretty much say all the songs I made back in 2005 would need some work lol. After all, I was a complete noob at music making. Considering I never even studied music, I made them all from playing by ear. I'm just glad people are finding something to like about the music I made instead of totally trash talking my music. I love feedbacks like this, much much much 'preciated. Sorry if I scared you with the voicing...that was completely unintentional, I swear lol. :D

There's too much compression with the sub bass, but other than that, it's nice!

ReddVampirus responds:

Thank you for your feedback. Yeah, I figured something was up with it when I played it on different sources. I'm now beginning to test them on different speakers and such before releasing. When I made this, I had nothing else to test it on, and my program was starting to glitch (with no way to edit it once it froze), so I quickly released the song. If I'm able to edit and fix this song, I'll re-release it (with it noted that it was cleaned up).

Nice, but the tempo isn't right to be dubstep. (Dubstep is 140 BPM with cut-time drums) I can't really find much wrong with it, but in my opinion there could be more in the background (just an opinion), really nice work overall!

RandomDanceOfHappy responds:

thanks for the review n.n tempo isent a set thing in genre and was ment to be chillstep but i got bored c.c

Really unique, I like it! However this song sounds like it needs a little bit of work, i.e. putting some stuff in the background, unless it was meant to be that way. Excellent job!

Gokenshadow responds:

Thanks, :)

Love the uplifting vibe. I rarely rate 5 stars, but this one deserves it! You may need to cut down some extremely high frequencies (although it may be my headphones), otherwise, this song is perfect!

TuneDown responds:

Ah ok, i'll keep that in mind! And thanks so much for the positive feedback, i really appreciate it! :D

Guitar sounds need improvement, and drums are a tad too quiet. However, you have a nice melody and track arrangement!

Agh! I was having a hard time figuring out how loud I wanted them, because if I made them any louder, the kicks and the cymbals would be more audible, but the snare would basically overtake the whole song. And I was WAY too lazy to go change the velocity for every snare in the song.

Your comment basically sums up all of my music in a nutshell. Decent composition, horrible production. :P

Thanks for listening and commenting!

Amazing intro! Very nice and relaxing. I love how you changed up the track in the middle! You really illustrated a "fall of an angel" throughout the track!

I was trying to find something wrong with the track, but I can't. Most likely because I'm not a great music producer, but I love the arrangement, progression, and how it isn't repetitive.

Great percussion and instrumentals in general! I rarely rate 5/5, but this one really deserves it! I love it when I find a gem among all of the stuff at NG.

Mattashi responds:

Thank you so much for listening and reviewing :)
I'm not a great music producer myself there's still lots to learn!

The clap needs work.. It's too noisy in my opinion (although it may be my Beats audio). Also the sub is loud as hell in the first 20 seconds or so. This is a big room house song, not trance. This genre would be a lot better in a live setting in my opinion. Unless you plan to play it at a live setting or just love to make this particular genre, it's not one I'd recommend. Also, it's a bit repetitive. Try to change it up here and there. Not particularly my style, however, you did have nice progression and arrangement. Keep it up!

Wizard responds:

Thank you ! I will try even more in next song. Also now i see that the clap is really a too much noisy.I will work on it !

Nice trance song, love it! Nice intro and progression; it progressed quite a bit faster than a typical trance song, but that doesn't stop it from being good!

SoLoR1 responds:

=D Thanks man!

I can't write a review for this, I'm no expert on hard dance, but I CAN rate it ;)

HappyHype responds:
